Bez Ambar
The force of Ambar's designs comes from his background in art. Prior to his obsession with the art of jewelry design Bez Ambar pursued a career as an artist. He studied painting and sculpture in London. When asked why he switched his focus to jewelry he replied, Beautiful women do not wear
paintings.
Combining his artistic talents, his technical skills and his love for gemstones, Bez created Ambar Diamonds Inc. Under the world-renowned names of Quadrillion and Boundless, Bez developed revolutionary and award wining designs and techniques in diamond cutting and setting. After dominating the Couture diamond jewelry market for two decades with designs of unparalleled quality and elegance, Bez became inspired to create an entirely new line. This line would not only compliment his classic designs of the past, but would allow him to push his creativity to progressive new levels. Bez loves fashion, from the way that he dresses, to the creations he designs. No detail concerning style is ever compromised. Whether in his office overlooking the skyline of Los Angeles, or shopping the streets of Paris and Milan, Bez appreciates style and understands the tides of fashion. He is intrigued by the interplay between jewelry and the world of high fashion. Bez sensed that most of the jewelry industry is completely outdated and out of touch. The product is created only with commercial objectives and the end result is completely forgotten, likewise the end user. Women who wear high fashion cannot find jewelry to match the slickness and the style of their clothing. Bez's designs are fashion-forward yet they transcend the boundaries of fads and trends, appealing to the sleek and sophisticated woman who expresses a unique personal style with that extra edge. They celebrate today's woman and her many facets: the professional, the romantic, the sex goddess and the super heroine. I believe that my task as a designer is to perk up peoples lives, and as a result, the quality of their thoughts and feelings. That is extremely pretentious, but if it were otherwise, there would be no point in doing it. Every design must meet several criteria. It should be beautiful, it should be versatile, it should be comfortable and most important it should make a woman feel just a little bit better every time she puts it on. |
